BRYAN, TX – October 13, 2026 – PRESSADVANTAGE –
H&R Cleaning has been named the 2026 Housekeeping Services selection in Best of the Brazos Valley, a community recognition program published by Brazos Life, a Bryan Broadcasting Corporation publication. The listing is the company’s fifth consecutive year in the program. Public notices from the program show nominations opened March 16, 2026, and voting remained open through July 5, 2026, with readers asked to select local businesses. Brazos Life announced that results were in on August 14, 2026, and a winners list dated September 15, 2026, named H&R Cleaning under Housekeeping Services. The program’s 2026 sponsor list also includes H&R Cleaning, Inc.
Amanda Holt, owner of H&R Cleaning, credited the listing to the team, stating, “Being recognized by the Brazos Valley for five years in a row means so much to our entire team. We’ve built H&R Cleaning around taking care of our employees, serving our customers well, and giving back to the community that has supported us. This recognition belongs to every team member who shows up each day committed to doing great work.”
The company’s Work With Us page, published in December 2025, still lists Best of the Brazos for four years running and a Nextdoor Neighborhood Fave listing. The 2026 Housekeeping Services line extends that published run by one year. H&R Cleaning is a locally owned and family-owned house cleaning company serving Bryan, College Station, Snook, and surrounding Brazos Valley communities. It provides recurring residential cleaning, deep cleaning, and move-in and move-out cleaning.
Company pages do not agree on a single start date. A biography posted May 20, 2026, says Holt established the company more than a decade ago with a vacuum and a handful of flyers. The About page and 2026 social channels describe 12 years of service in the Bryan and College Station area, which is consistent with that biography. The homepage still says the company has provided house cleaning in the area since January 2018. Those statements cannot all be correct. The more recent company materials point to a start more than a decade ago, while the homepage line has not been updated to match them.
Recurring-customer and review counts also come from different sources. At a July 2026 company kickoff, Holt reported more than 530 recurring customers. That figure has not been published on the company website or confirmed by an outside listing. The May 20, 2026 biography reported 357 recurring clients and 6,900 households cleaned. The homepage carries a separate line, “Celebrating 500 Recurring Cleaning Clients,” without a date. On reviews, the homepage says the company has 5-star ratings and over 200 reviews. The company briefing for this release cites more than 400 customer reviews. A Trustindex listing dated July 31, 2026, showed 423 reviews and a 4.9 rating for the company site. Those review counts are not the same measure, and the 530 figure remains an owner statement from the July kickoff.
The About page says the company puts employees first and treats team members as the VIPs of the organization because they work in clients’ homes. The site states that employees are background-checked, insured, and bonded, and that they receive professional training. During the July kickoff, Holt also referred to Beyond the Clean, the phrase used on the Work With Us page for a mission that includes family values and lasting relationships. The same page lists a Cleaning For a Reason partnership, through which the company donates house cleaning to local families undergoing cancer treatment.
H&R Cleaning continues to operate as a residential cleaning company based in the Bryan-College Station area. The 2026 recognition is a reader-voted Housekeeping Services listing published by Brazos Life, following a nominations period that opened in March and a voting period that closed July 5. It is the fifth consecutive year the company has reported receiving the recognition, one year beyond the four-year run still printed on its December 2025 careers page.
