AWKO Law LLP is investigating a data breach that led to unauthorized access to the sensitive information of patients of Quest Diagnostics, a New Jersey-based diagnostic testing company.
Quest Diagnostics disclosed in its Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) Form 8-K filing that on October 21, 2026, it identified unauthorized activity in its Quanum Lab Services Manager, a platform where certain clients can place test orders and receive or look up their results. Quest Diagnostics has not disclosed the number of individuals impacted.
Although the breach occurred in October 2026, Quest Diagnostics has not yet directly notified impacted individuals, which may have violated state and federal laws. The following data may have been compromised in the breach: patient records.
